I was organizing my house during the lockdown in the UK and I found a lot of dried leaves and flowers left over, saved in my loft space. It inspired me to create the series which I called 'Still life, stool and 30 seconds'.
I photographed the same still life compositions changing the setting on the camera and light in the studio using a long exposure.
It refers to a different and strange time that probably everyone experienced during the pandemic time - especially the lockdown. The reality and life, which everyone got used to, changed into a completely non-identical form of existence.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I was born in Poland in 1980 and graduated from the University of Silesia with Masters in Fine Arts in 2005.
My main passion is painting and drawing but I have also never stopped my interests in the medium of photography which, in some sense, is an essential accomplishment of my artistic language.
I use my camera to transfer and materialise the emotions which develop in my mind, the exticements caused by encountered reality. Sometimes the photos can abstract from reality showing different aspects of colours and forms, whereas another time they can simply reflect certain situations taking place in front of my camera.
