Landscape 3rd place winner

After enduring a snowstorm for nearly one hour, we were rewarded with great light at the ‘Tre Cime di Lavaredo’ national park. This was overall one of my favourite days of photography and showed that perseverance often pays out in the long run.

Hello, my name is Torsten Pull, I am responsible for Product Management & Development for a software company and I am a passionate photographer. I live in Herne Hill, London and mainly enjoy Landscape and occasionally City photography.

I am very fortunate that for some time I have been able to spend a week every year in amazing landscape photography locations like Iceland, Lofoten, Faroer Islands, and the Dolomites as well as shorter trips to the likes of Dorset, the Lake District and Glencoe. Having said that, I pretty much only spend 1 week every year with my camera in hand and the rest is rather theoretical education.

I believe I have started to find my own (editing) style and the vast majority of my pictures are only lightly edited. Recent success has encouraged me to continue on my own path - and whilst I want to continue to learn from the great landscape out there - I do not want to copy them.

I have been recently commended (2x) commended as part of the inaugural ‘Landscape Photography World Awards’ (2022). I have also featured in Outdoor Photography magazine and in the 2022 Epson Pano Awards book.
