For the last 25 years, photographer Vlado Bača has been taking pictures of the landscape, he is interested in the landscape of an unlimited space such as the sea, the ocean and the desert. He has been returning to the same place many times, deeper and deeper, he has dived into the topic to gradually become aware of what is so attracted to him.
I fell in love with this country, which is a country of many faces. Finally, I began to fulfill my long dream of creating photographs according to my ideas, as Ansel Adams once called this phenomenon pre-visualization. I was overwhelmed at first glance. One can understand our existence and that we are like a grain of sand. The sand dunes of White Sands or Death Valley, creating unpredictable shapes and lines of alternating light and shadow. I see my intimate world in many shades of gray, colours have disappeared, which would have only disturbed my perception. Only the clean lines of shapes and compositions within landscape have been replaced.
This is the intimate landscape of photographer Vlado Baca.
