Skins
Series of images of exuviae of mantises and grasshoppers. Exuviae are the remains of the exoskeleton that is left after insects have moulted. Actually, exuviae are the previous skins of these animals. These "skins" are remarkable detailed and give us insight in the shape and biology of their previous "inhabitants". Worldwide. the number of insects is rapidly decreasing. In time these skins will be our only memory.
