Nature nominee

I often went to this place and asked myself what could be the best image composition and color mood for me. Then, in late autumn, the time had come. The fog was there and the sun was shining through the forest. I created the image with a panoramic camera (Xpan / Tx-1) and used a 35mm film with Iso 800, so that the grain in the image is very pronounced. When printed on fine art paper, these support the grainy style and look, which I personally like.

Renzo Cicillini creates analog photographs shaped by light, reduction, and cinematic calm. His images are precisely composed and grounded in the materiality of film, using both current and rare stocks chosen for each subject.
