It was 2 am, and this storm was quickly approaching me. I was sleeping in my car, alone, I set up my Canon and a few moments after, I captured this lighting. After this one, some others illuminated the sky above me and I could feel the electricity in the air. Afraid of being struck as I was the highest thing around me, I decided to leave and a lighting struck just next to my car just after that.
This storm was majestic when approaching, and terrific when I was under. It has been the most powerful of august this year here in south of France.
