Growing up in an urban environment has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the energy and rhythm of city life. As a child, I was captivated by the fantastical cities depicted in comic books, movies, and video games. As I matured, I developed a deep appreciation for the exceptional work of architects, artists, designers, and the artistic movements that are imprinted in the cityscape. Through my photography, I aim to channel these emotions and provide a unique perspective on the environments that surround us.
By using a crystal prism in my photography, I create a surreal and captivating world, where lines multiply and blend, buildings become light and organic, the sky and earth mix in misty harmony. This technique enables me to deconstruct the city and extract its raw emotions, making the functional aspects disappear, highlighting the powerful impact created by gigantic skyscrapers, enchanting historical structures, or celestial displays of lights. The city becomes a poetry of wonder and imagination.
