DESCRIPTION
What the eye sees is not what the brain tells us. When there is disruption or inconsistency, an entire neural network process goes to work to find meaning.
For example if I write "M3SSAG3", the brain will read "MESSAGE".
I wanted to use this particularity by breaking down images of the human body that our brain reconstructs without any difficulty.
Moreover, I wanted to pay homage to the pioneers of photography and their often very experimental techniques by giving a vintage touch to these photographs which are reminiscent of wet collodion, daguerrotype, platinotype or sepia tint.
AUTHOR
The practice of Visual Arts being in my opinion an expression of philosophical ideas, I do not neglect any of the usual media that visual artists are used to using: painting, drawing, photography, collage, installation, video, digital art.
My favorite theme is freedom and the difficulty of achieving it; I am particularly sensitive to the liberation of women within phallocratic societies universally represented in the world and the weight that religion places on sexual inequality.
