Nudes nominee

I love butts. I’m drawn to the human body, the beauty and the diversity of derrieres and body shapes, and the promise of youth as well as the subsequent decay and ravages of time. I am fascinated how nudes and the human body can evoke an incredibly wide array of moods through lighting, posing, context, color and texture.

I was born in Sweden, have lived most my life in Norway. Since 2011 I split my time between studios in Oslo Norway and Sarasota Florida. I have been working on my Fine Art projects the last 15 years, but never shown them in public. I think emotions energise my work delivering images with strong messages often challenging ideas of beauty, power, human fragility and loneliness. My work is deeply personal, and my desire is that my images provoke and resonate with people on a deep level.
