DESCRIPTION
Visitors at an exhibition listen to the recorded voices of New York City residents from all walks of life relating personal stories, revealing intimate memories, narrating experiences in order to share what they love about the city. From the listeners’ facial expressions, body language, and rapt attention, we are able to perceive our universal humanity, our common connection.
We recognize that we --- all of us --- share more similarities than differences.

BIO
I received my first camera in my early teens, and have been in love with the medium ever since. Largely self-taught, I consider city streets a never-ending source of beauty and mystery. I strive to capture stories: those candid, fleeting moments when people are most themselves; moments of ambiguity, humor, joy, introspection, revelation.
