Portrait nominee

I‘m working on a series of Self-portraits with breastfeeding of my youngest son Theo. I want to show a beauty of this unique time, the time of this silence dialogue with your child, that sometimes is full of pain or come together with sleepless nights.
Your child will forget this time, but a mother will always remember these moments when she was a whole world for her child.

Russian born (in 1981) Olga Steinepreis lives in Freigericht, Germany.
She studied Computer Aided Design at the Southern Federal University. She started photography in 2011 attending classes in a photography school in Saint Petersburg, in addition to take various seminars and workshops. In 2021 she was inspired with Art and it's relations with photography and it findes reflection in her Art. In 2022 she studied at the New Photo School.
Her works have focused on capturing moments of maternity, femininity and childhood through self-portraits and photos of her family members.
