Portrait of Alice Greenwald (Single)
DESCRIPTION
This is a portrait of Alice Greenwald, the founding Director of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City. Alice dedicated 16+ years of her life to the service and development of the institution that was built in the footprints of the tragically-perished World Trade Center, resulting from terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The Memorial & Museum symbolizes enduring memory of the most tragic event in the city's history. It also stands for courage, dignity, sacrifice and the eventual triumph of the human spirit, rising above the unthinkable. Alice retired shortly after this photo was captured, making it her last portrait on the floor of the museum as its remarkable and thoughtful leader.
