Charleston is a small community in Oregon's Bay Area. Apart from commercial fishing, work prospects are far and few in this town. Neglected structures tell the story how the community is struggling to make ends meet. But, under the surface, when the light and conditions become magic, Charleston displays its charming side.

I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to live in pristine New Zealand and now in Oregon with its abundance of diverse natural beauty. Photographing landscapes is my passion. It is an intimate process. Getting to know and understand an area takes time. For me, connecting with a place turns into a spiritual experience, exhilarating and humbling at the same time.

My objective as a photographer is to draw you into a mysterious world where abstract shapes, textures, patterns, and leading lines unfold in front of your eyes. It is a world in which something special takes place, a world I invite you to explore with me.
