Seascape nominee

A long exposure of the Isle of Rum during blue hour, captured from the Isle of Eigg - two of the Small Isles in the Inner Hebrides off the Scottish west coast. I revisited the same beach twenty times, under different conditions, and this is the photo that I treasure the most. It captures the serene tranquility of distant shores, where one can still spend time alone in harmony with nature. Due to the changing tides, the sand patterns looked different on every occasion: a landscape forever in motion.
