Street nominee

Often small things are enough to turn an ordinary situation into an extraordinary one. Gel Doy kebab shop is around the corner from me, and for the past three years, I have passed by it almost every day. Photographically, it had held little appeal for me until then. On a cold January evening, I was at home in Berlin and the weather was getting worse. Eventually, it started to snow heavily and as a street photographer, I knew that this would greatly increase the chance of taking unusual pictures. So I packed my things and went out into the blizzard. When I got to the kebab shop once again, I saw this unknown man in a coat and cap looking in its direction. It was like a perfect backdrop and I acted immediately. The pre-selected camera settings were just right and everything worked perfectly. My Fujifilm X-T3 was equipped with the Fujinon XF 1.4/18mm and I was able to shoot at ISO 400 and open the aperture at 1/250 second.
