Wildlife / Animals nominee

I took this picture of the Elk at Rocky Mountain National Park during sunset. Waited for Elk to lift its head up to the sunlight while ensuring that the beautiful background stayed in focus as well to capture the environment. It was taken handheld using my Nikon Z7-ii camera and 70-200mm lens.

I'm an amateur photographer. I love photographing nature, landscape, fine art, streets, still life, portraits etc.
One of my photograph recently won the first prize in a local art competition in the city. It was exhibited in their gallery.
