Moths or butterflies face a variety of predators in the larval stage. In order to increase their chances of survival, they develop strategies to defend against natural enemies. Among them, allergy-inducing bristles are widely used by many species. Lepidopteran larvae with bristles take more time for predators to hunt, or cause predators to be injured, so larvae with bristles can improve their survival rate. The photo of the poisoned moth larvae should have been artificially disturbed, so the bristles were displayed like fireworks, giving me the opportunity to record this amazing scene.

In the biodiversity of nature, insects are busy breeding in the summer, and I am happy to welcome the arrival of summer, who loves macro photography. When I travel alone in nature, the dialogue with all things in nature begins, and encountering insects I have photographed in the past is like meeting an old friend. After being exposed to insect photography, I had more opportunities to study ecology and understand the importance of maintaining biodiversity. Human invasion of other living habitats may lead to the migration or disappearance of living organisms, thereby disrupting the food chain.
