Berlin Tempelhof Airport is one of the largest buildings in Europe and was closed in 2008.
For more than 70 years it served as a military airport and as an airport for civil aviation.
Countless planes and support vehicles left their mark in the hangars and, over time, were layered into abstract paintings.
The entire series consists of 40 photos.
