With 192 countries participating and the focus topic "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future’ through sustainability, mobility and opportunity, Expo 2020 Dubai has been the first international event hosted in the United Arab Emirates.
Originally scheduled from October 2020 to April 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, it kept the name Expo 2020 and recorded more than 24 million visits in its six months.
For the first time in World Expo history, every participating country had its own pavilion so to permit enjoying different cultural experiences and unique architectures realized for the occasion.
