“Diminish”
I believe in destiny,
which has brought us together.
No matter where life takes me, or how much time passes by,
those great memories we shared are valued and treasured.
Time blurs the memories, but photo sharpens them.
Those great memories is the best way to describe everything.
In Hong Kong whether rich or poor, the old generation used to consider taking family picture at studio an important event in life. In comparison, the modern generation seldom think of taking formal family picture because taking snapshot has become easy and simple. When things are at their fingertips, people tend not to cherish what they have. They even fail to develop good relationship with the love ones who stay physically close to them. Therefore, through this family picture project, I hope to enhance the awareness of cherishing the love ones around you. I invited different families to return to the place most meaningful to them to take family picture. While one family thought of the small fishing boat where they lived and worked for many years, the other preferred to choose their childhood place. Another family as a witness on fight for democracy.
