this incident was when I first began to take a closer look at things in real life that I had never put
thought to. After the remote control incident,I started to think about things that are inconvenient
in daily life when something's not there. Discomfort caused by the temporary absence of many

Kim Seol Hee focuses on exploring the various "relationships" we form throughout life. ‘Beyond the Zebra’s Vertical Boundaries’ reflects her love for animals, as well as her insight into the inseparable bond between humans and animals. Her work often subtly incorporates surreal elements, conveying a fairy-tale-like, warm message that reminds us of the importance of relationships that we tend to overlook in our daily lives. Starting her exhibition career in 2018 with several group shows, she held solo exhibitions at Gaon Gallery in 2022 and at Ryu Gallery in 2023, while also participating in major art fairs like K-photo Fair, Seoul Art Fair, and the Photography in Contemporary Art 2023 exhibition at the Seoul Arts Center. She has been nominated twice at the FAPA (Fine Art Photography Awards) in 2022 and 2023, and in 2023, she was selected for the Notable Vision category at the IPA (International Photography Awards).
