ARTICLE 13 GG
Article 13 of the German Basic Law guarantees the fundamental right to the inviolability of the home.
This serves to protect the spatial privacy from interference by the state.
This is primarily a right to freedom.
In our digital environment, however, things are different - there, corporations determine which data is passed on to third parties for economic reasons and thus which data is processed, linked and evaluated - mostly without our knowledge and without government regulation through worldwide networking.
Once released into the digital world, data can no longer be deleted - because the Internet never forgets.
Data from profiles from XING, GOOGLE, PINTEREST, FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, LINKEDIN, TUMBLR, TICTOC, TWITTER, SNAPCHAT, TINDER, YOUTUBE, WHATSAPP, etc. can be used through data mining to create a movement profile, political orientation and/
or a psychological analysis - with potentially dangerous consequences.
On the other hand, there is the legally anchored inviolability of the home - from the time of the purely analogue world.
