DESCRIPTION
hese photographic paintings were created to embody the concept of Yaoyorozu no Kami in Shinto. Shintoism is an animistic religion where Gods are everywhere: in nature, animals, things. Humans could be Gods as well. And Yaoyorozu no Kami is idea that there are as many Gods as there are people. In order to express this, I tried to blend unrealistic images of Gods painted by the Japanese painter Aoi Honjo to photographs taken when I felt Gods in my daily life. In addition, by blending your images of Gods, They became existences including multifaceted perspectives and revealed Yaoyorozu no Kami.
