DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Annet Neijmeijer (1960 is a contemporary fine art photographer. She finds her inspiration in the interaction of emotions, impressions, and memories. There is a philosophical undertone to be found in her photos. They are metaphorical images, defining a truth that can be simultaneously real and inconceivable.
The way we perceive the world around us is personal, there is not one concrete truth. We color our experiences and memories, and we charge them with emotion and meaning. Different people have different recollections of similar events. In her work, Annet tries to analyze memories of the past and feelings of the present.
