Experimental nominee

These are no ordinary photographs of flowers. On the surface they may appear very normal, however the technique which was used to capture them is completely unique and never been done before.

To create these artworks I place the flowers in a dark room with my camera set to a long exposure, then I proceed to light them with a phone screen which is playing pornographic content. The carnal colors and erotic scenes are reflected in the floral arangements, creating a stark contrast between concept and composition.

As an artist who is interested in exploring controversial topics, I created this series to raise awareness around porn addiction. More specifically, I want to encourage more sensitivity in a society that has been desensitized to pornography
