"Life and Death protect themselves from humans by masking themselves, perhaps they too dream of falling asleep and being free".

This photographic representation is born first of all as a personal reflection on existence.
The protagonist perceives in life and in death a fragility equivalent to that of man, so she awaits that freedom
and she hopes that life and death are free from that infinite cycle as it is for the human being, they await on the threshold of the dream, an encounter without masks, where nothing begins, nothing ends.
The human being is there waiting with them, to fall asleep / wake up.

My artworks are mainly based on the instinct of the visual mind. Through the symbology of the unconscious I highlight what is hidden from the human conscience, crossing the line of the real and that of the imaginary. The characters of my artworks are instruments of interior resonance that speak to the beholder. The individual unconscious that characterizes every human being therefore becomes a sieve through which we give meaning to archetypal images linked to the collective unconscious, like a large invisible web that connects everything, overcoming the dimension of space and time.

Elisa Scascitelli was born in Italy in 1989.
She is a creative and visionary Artist in Fine Art and Fairytales Photography.
But she just loves calling herself a Fantastic Worlds Explorer.
Exploration, nature, forests, mystery, the continuous questions without answer, the "you don't know" those are sources of inspiration that persistently leak in her artworks.
Labyrinthine nature of the artist is intertwined with the arcane, with the dreamlike and mythological symbolism, mixing like color on a painter's canvas.
