September 16, 2022 was a strange night. The night when eighty million people of my country cried for Mehsa, a beautiful twenty-two-year-old girl who was killed by the police because her hair was visible.
For many years, the women of my country have been wearing colorful clothes, dancing and falling in love under these black cloths and mandatory hijab to keep their femininity alive.
Mahsa's name was their code name to come to the street and bravely stand in front of the killers and shout: woman, life, freedom.
This collection is my tribute to the women of my homeland.
