Vestrahorn | Iceland (Single)
DESCRIPTION
This photo of Vestrahorn in Iceland was taken in winter (February to be exact). If you saw this mountain in summer you would be greeted by the sight of dark brown volcanic rocks. Their composition is mainly gabbroic rock with iron and magnesium mixed in. However, when the slopes of Vestrahorn are covered in snow and the winter light takes on a blue glare, the landscape begins to look a little more…mystical.
AUTHOR
Born and raised in Berlin, I have always been a lover of big cities. To this day, I am fascinated by the synergy of historical buildings and modern architecture, which dominates the cityscapes of many metropolises. But even though Berlin is amazing, it drives me more and more into the world. A year in Prague during my studies made me a European citizen and re-ignited my passion for travel.
Sumfinity.com presents the hub for my works. I write about my impressions on my trips and during taking the photos. I try to provide you with insight into my artistic life, but the focus is always with the pictures. To gain a better insight into my work, I cordially invite you to my social media profiles. There you will find “Behind the Scenes” highlights and I am happy that I can share my impressions even better that way.
