“What if moments” assigned by me is the essence of this gallery. Inspired by my love for light and wonder of how it passes through objects, creating spectacular shadows ultimately transforming a plain wall into a piece of art. I experiment with different thicknesses, shapes and colours of glass to create my images as I learn about the physics of refraction.
In these particular images I combined my love for shadows with rubbish. The shadows of buildings are created with cardboard boxes I find around the house. With a bit of imagination anything can be gallery worthy.
The process of producing these images is very meditative to me. I create them for my own enjoyment and in hopes to make the viewer take a second look and get lost in imagination.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am a retired nurse, mom and a photographer. What makes me the happiest is creating from things around me and using the alternative and digital methods together to create something magical. The ideas are sparked by simple objects around the house and yard. One day it's a grape stem another is coffee grounds...toilette paper roll...I want people and especially children to know that you don't have to go far to create art. The world is full of small wonders!
