Open Theme nominee

My serie of diptychs combine portraits of nudes and still lifes with simbols.

1.Woman "Summer"
Summer - hot wind, cherries, hot peppers, burnt grass, half-naked bodies, the sun on the skin, lambs on the head, tenderness, joy and love.
2. Royal cherry
When the celestial fruits are inside us, the whole world becomes a paradise. In the picture - a symbol of strength and enlightenment - the crown, and the “fruit of paradise” - cherry.
3. The temple of my soul
Your body has its own consciousness and opinion, it is like a temple of your soul, which you received for temporarily. In the picture - a cherry on the body, as a symbol of admiration, love, tranquility, fertility and rebirth.
4. Strength of the Genus
Tree roots are our ancestors. Branches and trunks - we are. And the crowns are our future descendants. The power of the Genus is always with us - when we grow, develop and face changes.
5. Masks
We all need a mask when we consider ourselves not good enough, we want to fit into the framework of our environment. I created this work to remember that our uniqueness is more important than social approval.

Olga Sukhikh is the art photographer, based in the Republic of Cyprus. Lolly Shine is her trade name that she uses in social networks and logo. Olga’s mission is to create artistic work, with the help of which a person feels protected, peaceful, and happy. Heart-to-heart, with love and gratitude.
