City walks (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Each city has its unique history and personality.My city portraits
combine the diverse impressions, discoveries and events of a place into one picture
together The compositions are inspired by views of the 17th and 18th centuries,
albeit in a contemporary reality, the objects of street art, art in public
public space, advertising signs and shopping areas etc. as symbols of everyday urban
life involves. Through a variety of digital fusion and collage techniques
my individual images result in current city views between documentation and
staging.
AUTHOR
I am a photo artist and calendar maker from Berlin/Germany.
I have been exploring the possibilities of digital photography for ten years. I have had group and solo exhibitions in London, Tokyo and Berlin.
In 2023 I received a gold award at the Tokyo international photo awards.
In 2022 I was nominated for the Sony World Photography Awards. I received the Jury Prize (Top 5) at the International Photography Awards™ 2022 and received two third places at the ND Professional Awards 2022.
