I created this piece last Christmas. Our world grew dark and cruel and over the winter months it got quite challenging for me to hold my spirits up. But in darkest times light shines the brightest and I found little pieces of light in loving family and friends. Holding together, facing the cold darkness out there together. But love and light is not only to be found on the outside. I deeply believe that there’s a flame in everyone of us, waiting to be found and seen by us again. Waiting to be freed of the cage of judgements. Cause true love doesn’t judge by wrong or right, light or dark, black or white. Only with true love we will spread light over this planet again.
So this photo was my little scream for more respect, more listening, understanding, empathy and humility again. A cry for love and light.
