DESCRIPTION
As in a tale where our imaginations and everyday life blend together, I watch my daughter move away from infancy to discover the world of the grown-ups...
AUTHOR
As a freelance graphic designer, I work mainly for public and cultural institutions, NGOs, publishing houses, communication agencies, music and audiovisual production companies and various clients. In parallel to my professional activity as a graphic designer, I have always practiced photography.
Wishing to deepen my practice of photography, I enrolled in 2020 in a project management training offered by the Vu Agency https://agencevu.com/en/, and supervised by the photographer Claudine Doury. The photographic project I propose is a portrait of my 8 year old daughter where our imagination and her daily life are mixed, at this period of her life where she progressively moves away from early childhood to discover the adult world. This project is called "Liv", my daughter's first name, and was realized with her complicity, in France where I live and in Germany where she lives with her mother.
It has been exhibited twice at the Galerie Vu in Paris: https://galerievu.com/expositions/.
A first exhibition took place in June 2021 in the form of a 26-page leporelo, a second time in June 2022 during the second edition of the collective exhibition PREMIÈRE VU, where a selection of 13 photographs from this project was exhibited.
