Portrait nominee

I was working on a personal project to present Caribbean woman and their expression. I wanted also include an element that represent the Caribbean, the sea. As we were working with the model to express the anger, instead of putting everything on the facial expression i decided for her to use the water around us. And what do you do when you are angry, you scream, you violently move your arm, your body. So that is what she did, putting the water into motion. And I captured this picture where you can even guess the anger in the eye that you barely see.

I started photography 5 years ago. I started taking pictures of my girlfriend as we were travelling. I've always been interested in photography and that was the start of my adventure. I kept taking picture of nature and sunset. It was easy as I live on a Caribbean island. And the I got into more portraiture.
I became a professionnel 3 years ago, doing wedding and content for social media. Lately I kind felt like I lost my way in photography until I went in France this summer and seeing something different really brought me back to what I liked.
I decided then to focus more on the art part of photography, trying to figure out the art part within myself.
