The photo is inspired by the legend of King Arthur and his sword Excalibur. It depicts the king's wife, Guinevere, clutching the sword that was destined for Arthur.

Mythical Avalon has fallen because of her betrayal...

The love that grew between Lancelot, the Knight of the Round Table and Guinevere, the wife of King Arthur, led to the end of his reign and the fall of the kingdom. She was supposed to die at the border, but Lancelot saved her, and after other events she retreated to the convent for the rest of her life.

I am a fine art photographer from Slovakia. In my work I try to connect nature, poetry, symbolism and the human element. I try to find beauty in ordinary places and in the people we walk around every day and show the power of the connection between human and nature. There is something mysterious about it, our beginning, our end, the meaning of life.
