Shine your light. This photograph is a portrait of a young woman from the interior of Spain in which I want to capture her soul and her rural ancestral roots. She sheds her own light in the darkness that surrounds her, a symbol of the uncertainty of her cultural context that could disappear in a few years. Her light and her mystery as a symbol of hope in this portrait.
Technically, the light is completely natural, as is the darkness, which is a contrast between the exterior and the interior within her own home.
The dress that she wears is an old wedding dress, traditional and unique from a part of the Salamanca region. The veil is a key element in this portrait that gives the photograph more drama and mystery.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am a Spanish photographer whose motto is: a look with soul. Although I have been living in a small town in deep Spain for a few years my professional and academic career goes through countries like the US, Canada, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands, promotional and corporate photography being one of the branches in which I dedicate myself. I make reports that value the landscape and ethnographic wealth of different territories, creating quality content that, in addition to reporting, promotes, working for companies related to tourism, the press and official organizations. Traveling around the world has helped me to capture reality in a special way, more aware of its uniqueness. Another of my specialties is portraiture, for me the most important thing is to capture the soul of people.
Although at first it might be thought that my photographic style is pictorial, my work is closely related to Literature. Edgar Allan Poe, Hans Christian Andersen, Juan Ramón Jiménez whose stories are part of my imagination.
Throughout my career I have received several national awards and held several exhibitions, the last one being portraits.
