Seascape 2nd place winner

Bioluminescent phytoplankton illuminating the ocean along the coast of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve near Cape Town, South Africa. On this night strong winds caused wave action across the bay which in turn caused the bioluminescence to manifest as far as the eye could see. This was a single, 15-minute exposure.
