Poetics of Every Day _ The Invisibles

The theme of this series is the look at invisibility, whether of people, objects, situations that go unnoticed or ignored in our daily lives.
Here I compose a series resulting from the observation of construction workers during a period of 3 weeks. There are no faces, just bodies at work, dragging their looming shadows, their tools, and the tracks on the ground like their fingerprints.

By giving voice to the images, I intend to create poetic and conceptual connections with this “sliding” language as a way of provoking a non-linear or literal reflection on the appreciation of man and his work, as well as the contradictory social discrepancies that accompany them.

She was a cultural producer and photographer from 2002 to 2010 by Associação Mundo Mundo Brazil (http://www.mundobrasil.org.br).
