On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate the similarity of this place to Venice?

Qanat Quartier is Doha's recently built neighborhood in 'The Pearl. And if it weren't for the view of Lusail (with distinctive magnet-like Katara towers), it would feel like we had moved from desert Qatar to Venice.

Born and raised in Berlin, I have always been a lover of big cities. To this day, I am fascinated by the synergy of historical buildings and modern architecture, which dominates the cityscapes of many metropolises. But even though Berlin is amazing, it drives me more and more into the world. A year in Prague during my studies made me a European citizen and re-ignited my passion for travel.
