The aim of this series is to highlight the symmetries offered by the glass that is so regularly present in the envelopes of the buildings that surround us. These reflections and the framing of these shots offer us an exclusively abstract vision of buildings, to the point where we forget that they shelter human beings. They all have a diagonal as their centerline, actually it’s the pillar of this photographic project.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Trained urbanist and passionate about travel, Benoît Lavenir lived for many years in Seville (Spain), Fribourg (Switzerland) and Porto Alegre (Brazil). He has recently developed two distinct photographic projects.
The first one, called “BinwA”, is a photographic project of contemporary architecture where the infinity of possible geometries tells of an urban world in which it is better to look up and to your surrounding rather than with eyes down. It was exhibited in Iguerande during the summer of 2023, and is currently on offer to the public in Charlieu.
The second one named “Ben-oÙ?”, which shows notably an urban atmosphere throughout the world. It is a journey from West to East, where each photographic stop captures the beauty of landscapes, colors, cultural heritage, spaces and urban life shaped by Men and their daily history. This was exhibited in Nans-les-Pins during the summer of 2023, then in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume in November.
Each photo is printed on Dibond support, developed by a studio located in La Clayette, in Bourgogne France.
