Abstract nominee

This image was captured at Jökulsarlon, a location typically renowned for a different genre of photography. While searching for striking ice formations, my attention was unexpectedly seized by a piece of wood, evidently serving as a habitat for a community of woodworms. Intriguingly, in my imagination, I also envisioned an aerial view resembling a contemporary human city. The central area featured skyscrapers in the upper left, surrounded by parks, and a satellite city in the lower right.

In my journey as a minimalist and abstract photographer, I seek to capture the nuanced beauty and unique atmosphere found in both nature and the streets. Amidst the uncertainties of our world, my goal is to distill order and simplicity, creating beauty that deeply resonates. I'm looking for precision and balance, for tranquility in reimagined realities.
