The everyday world surrounding us consists of images familiar to the brain, experienced and categorised, which are not questioned or looked at more closely without disturbance or novelty. What is seen once is categorically classified in order to be able to assess and disarm it the next time it appears.
In the process, we forget to see - the magic of small shadows, the childlike discovery of beauty in the everyday, the supposedly familiar, which without closer examination remains only a stereo- type of reality.
The pictures are intended to encourage to look again, to search, to discover beautiful moments in normality, in their immediate surroundings.
