DESCRIPTION
《TOWER》is a photography series captured in the heart of Dublin, Ireland, in December 2022. The focus of this series is a towering structure situated prominently in the city center. Standing at the base and looking upward, the grand tower transforms unexpectedly into a triangular plane.
This series employs a deconstructive approach to present the visual effects of the architecture, highlighting the complexity of perception. Through this unique perspective, I aim to convey the multiplicity inherent in objects, emphasizing that the world is not simply black or white. A change in perspective reveals an entirely new landscape—a spirit that deeply resonates in my photographic exploration.
AUTHOR
Jenny is a Hong Kong and UK-based photographer with a background in art. She graduated from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in 2020 with a BA in Photography and graduated from the University of Leeds in 2022 with an MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies.
In Jenny's images, she likes to present documentary images based solely on her senses and vision, while exploring the possibilities of showing images and the emotional connection between images and people in different experimental ways. She focuses on emotional expression, female growth, and social issues. By presenting her images in experimental ways, she encourages the viewer to question their preconceived notions and broaden their perspective.
