Conceptual nominee

Hindu ancient texts particularly the Prasna Upanishad talk about two complementary energies: Shiva which literally means 'that which is not' is the primordial energy residing in the deep nothingness and is considered a masculine energy. While Shakti, considered a feminine energy and considered central to ancient Hindu society, stirs and drives. It is the energy of creation and propels the universe and all its constituents including us. Through this image the interplay of these complementary energies are shown. The photo seeks to represent this quiet power and interplay of these energies.

A photographer, lawyer and traveler. I find myself seeing, observing and enjoying more when I look at the world from behind a lens. I enjoy all forms of photography- whether it be seeking minimalist compositions, abstracts, vivid landscapes, portfolios or documenting cultures I witness in my travels.
