Conceptual nominee

I attempted to capture the beautiful harmony where rich hues elegantly blend, creating a gently drifting moment of the landscape, subject and the overall space.

Kaede Tsuji (b. 1993) is a Japanese conceptual and fine art photographer. While attending Kansai Gaidai University, she participated in a study abroad program at Portland State of University(PSU) in Oregon, USA. At PSU, she learned photography and film. Post - graduation, she is working as a high school English teacher in a special needs school while maintaining her photography passion on the side. Her photography consists of harmony of nature, people, thoughts, feelings, poems and words from people around her. She held a group art and photography exhibition : “Pop-up-quarter”at Toyama Glass Art Museum in August, 2021, a solo photography exhibition: “Storytelling” at Otto Studio 1975 in May, 2022 and "White" at Kitanihon Shimbun Gallery in June, 2023.
