Silhouettes of Silence (Series)
DESCRIPTION
In a landscape of industrial desolation, two masked figures embody alienation in the age of technological progress. It is not only the remains of tyres that surround them, but also the imposition of the masks, that speak to us of a world where identity has merged with the cold steel of the machinery that drives us. These figures, encased in a fortress of discarded rubber, confront us with the irony of a progress that binds us more than it frees us. In their poses there is an echo of vulnerability, a subtle plea that invites us to question at what cost modern comfort comes. It is not only a critique of tangible pollution, but also of the pollution of our collective being; a reminder that in the pursuit of the material, we can lose what is essentially human. This is a visual meditation on the footprint we leave behind: one that marks both the earth and the fabric of our humanity.
AUTHOR
Héctor Fernández, known artistically as Hecsouls, is an amateur artist specialising in the artistic and conceptual nude. At the age of 33, he has dedicated half his life to photography, mainly as a hobby. Although not widely known in the art world, Hecsouls has developed a distinctive style, focusing on expressing emotions through the souls of the people he captures in his work. His approach to the artistic nude not only seeks to show the human figure, but also to convey an emotional and conceptual depth that goes beyond the visual. With each image, Hecsouls tries to tell a story, provoke reflection and evoke feelings, thus demonstrating his passion and commitment to the photographic art. with reflection
