ANO/MONO (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The project explores concept of anonymity in photography. It does that by abstracting individuals into shapes place between planes, devoid of personal traits yet physically present. Using monochromatic color palette to eliminate unnecessary distractions, the project encourages individual interpretations of each frame's subject. Rather as an answer, ANO/MONO tries to pose as question - on where is the line of anonymity and if this objectivization could be achieved without stripping subjects from their humanity. Free from constraints of each subject's persona, it invites viewers to uncover own meaning in each frame, fostering personal contemplation within a broad range of interpretations.
