For this series of photographs I decided to cultivate different species of mushrooms.
I documented all the growth and as soon as they reached maturity and started releasing their spores I decided to start with the photos.
The cultivated and photographed species were Pleurotus Citrinopileatus, Hericium Erinaceus and Pleurotus Djamor.
The cultivation process lasted around 2 months. The species were not cultivated simultaneously due to their fragility.
Colors were added digitally through Photoshop and Lightroom, thus giving a perspective of something new, something unknown.
For these shots i used a Canon T7i, with an 18-55mm lens and a lens extension tube to take macro shots
