Series title: A Lonely Night

My photo series titled A Lonely Night captures the essence of a sunset evening in the stunning backdrop of Southern California. The protagonist of this series is Jie, my muse, while the sky takes on enchanting shades of violet, pink, and pastel orange.

These shots mark a significant milestone in my photographic journey. It was the first time I ventured to photograph by the ocean, and the experience was profoundly transformative. The atmosphere of this location transcended me, immersing me in an unparalleled inspiration. I felt perfectly in tune, an intimate connection with nature that allowed me to capture the soul of this fleeting moment.

My name is Emilie and I'm a photographer who grew up in France and now calls the United States home. From a young age, I was drawn to the power of photography to capture emotions and imagination, and that passion has never left me.
My aesthetic research is all about creating elegant and intimate scenarios that showcase the beauty of the world around us. Through color correction and delicate framing, I aim to bring out the personality and emotion of everyone I photograph.
Photography is a way to connect with the world and express my own personality through my art.
