"The world is a vast room".
In the series "Room with theatre," I conceived an empty space as a stage where the boundaries between daily life and theatrical performance blur. Seemingly unrelated objects from everyday life come together closely in this space: branches, cables, and wooden sticks; hammers, projections, and mirrors. Things that have never touched in three-dimensional space cross the boundaries of reality and imagination in this hypothetical space, where dramatic lighting and prism reflections occur simultaneously, attempting to create narrative possibilities in two-dimensional images.
During my university internship, the art gallery I was part of opened its space to serve as a hub for social and cultural activities, attempting to bridge the gap between the art gallery and the public. This experience led me to a different perspective on the interplay of real life and theater.
A room is the smallest unit of a theatrical performance, but at the same time, a theater can also be a vast room.
It all revolves around imagination, imagination is the boundary between rooms and theaters, where stories unfold within the unseen narratives.
